''I hated poverty. Poverty is more of a choice than anything else, and i can change that (Poverty). It depends upon how hard i wan to work, and i decided that i would change it.'' - Dr. Ben Carson What this quote means to me is that, he had to choose if he wanted to stop being lazy and get to work. Now hes running for president. This quote also shows how anything is possible because he had to live with poverty. And now hes living like hes never before. I cant relate to this quote but i know rappers that have gone through a lot of this and now they're making money like if it grows on trees. Examples i'd give of this is going to school. If you go to school, you go their to get educated. To make a better person of yourself. Thats exactly what education does to you. He went from the streets to becoming somebody that is getting known around the United States. This is an example of how much work Dr. Ben Carson put into his school work. It got him to somewhere he probably thought he'd never get to.
