Presidents Day                                                                                                                                           Presidents Day is a day when all the presidents get known for. It lands on a Monday. It is celebrated in the United States. We get the day off for school. I found it really helpful because thats the day i get my new shoes. I can honor presidents day by giving thanks that we don't come to school that day and once i get my shoes i can go play soccer so that the next day i can go to wingstop and eat with my friends. I think the area where i live in it isn't going to be that turnt. It never is unless it has to do with soccer. The purpose of presidents day is to honor our previous's presidents that did all they could for this nation.

Monson                                                  What this means to me is that you cant do something you think is right but actually its wrong. This quote is kind of hard to explain. An example id give for this quote is when you're trying to help someone. You think your helping them but really your not. They might have a side that nobody likes and might get you into trouble too. Just because they're nice to you. When your thinking and your being stubborn and you think you're right you disagree with everyone who is against you. That is somewhat related to this quote because you think you're right but you're wrong. This relates to me because sometimes I'm stubborn with my mom because she tricks me so i don't believe her so, i end up disagreeing with her and in the ending I'm always wrong.Those are my examples for this quote.

This quote relates to me because i sometimes am in the mood for doing things and sometimes im not. Like for example right now. I am sleepy,so i am not in the mood for anything as of now nor will i be when i get home.

                                 I havent figured out what i want my career to be like all i know is either to become a soccer player or a rapper. In order for this to hapeen for soccer i muust have speed which i already have. Rapping i need some intense skills. I dont know where to go to because theirs alot of places i can go to just that im going to be lazy about it. I need to get into a club for soccer and its easy to join but its the games that are hard because of the opponents. Those are the only careers i want and i am going to hopefully accomplish them.

I was trying to do what was right.''                                                                   - Dean Smith                                                                                                                                      What this quote means to me is that this coach won games without thinking of winning. He wanted the players to have fun. I think he taught the players how to play with their heart and mind. Like he showed them how to play with respect and that it wasn't all about winning when it comes to games. H e taught them how to play the game and that you couldn't always win. An example id give for this quote is our coach always expects us to win. H e knows we have some team mates that aren't as good as others so he expects the good ones to do all the work. This relates to me because he knows when the teams are rough,so he gives us a chance to play how we want. Like 2 weeks ago, we went up against a sponsored team so we knew we didn't have it easy. So he let us play how we thought we would at least have somewhat have a little competition against them. Yes, we did end up loosing 6-3 we managed to somewha not give up. So at the end of the game he congrajulated yed very well. At the end the referee told us we were the only team that had managed to score on them.

The dreams will come to you.''           - Dr. Randy Pausch                                                                                                                                                   What this quote means to me is that if you have dreams and you really do want them to come true you'll sacrifice yourself for what you really want. You do everything you are told to do. Good things will come to you. An example i'd give for this quote is that if i wanted to become a soccer player or a rapper i'd have to sacrifice myself a lot. For soccer id have to run daily. For the rapping part you have to go looking around to see who'd want to hear you rap. This relates to me because the quote i said, really is true. I am willing to go around asking where to go to. It's something that i really want and i hope i can accomplish it with all the sacrifice.

This doesn't relate to me because i don't even understand the quote that good. The example id give for this quote; I'm not sure its right but, if they wanted to contribute something to this school to make it better they can give us better food and let us listen to music while we work in class. That's one way we could improve our school. Now if we wanted our country to get well recognized more then what it already is, they'd have to think of something crazy that's good for our country. Make it go worldwide. So that we can have a good memory of what we once did for our country and we'll be well known for it i guess.
